rectangularChaff command

Description: This command creates a new chaff of dipoles. This command is only available when using the Chaff module.

Inline mode usage:

  • rectangularChaff -h: Displays the help file that summarizes the parameters for this command.
  • rectangularChaff <center_x> <center_y> <center_z> <x_width> <y_depth> <z_height> <number_dipoles> <dipole_radius> <min_length> <max_length>: Creates a new rectangular-shaped (with the given center and lengths) dipole chaff, each one with a specified dipole radius and a length between the given limits.

Interactive mode usage:

  • Invocation: rectangularChaff
  • Parameters:
    • Coordinate of the center: center_xcenter_ycenter_z
    • Size: x_width y_depth z_height.
    • Number of dipoles.
    • Radius of the dipoles.
    • Minimum length of the dipoles.
    • Maximum length of the dipoles.

Example:

>rectangularChaff

Center point [x y z]: 0 0 0

Width (X) [double]: 1

Depth (Y) [double]: 0.5

Height (Z) [double]: 0.25

Number of dipoles [integer]:300

Radius of the dipoles [doubles]: 300E-06

Minimum length of the dipoles [double]: 15E-03

Maximum length of the dipoles [double]: 15E-03
