8.1. Solver Parameters

The user needs to configure the method to be applied in the analysis: Physical Optics (PO) or Method of Moments (MoM). Two tabs are used to select these approaches and configure the options for each one of them.

If PO has been selected, the user must define the number of bounces and the surface error. The diffraction effect will be taken into account only if it has been selected in the corresponding check box.

If the MoM has been selected the user must choose the formulation to be applied (EFIE, MFIE or CFIE) and the type of basis functions to be used (Subdomains or Macro Basis Functions). The user can select the maximum error allowed when solving the equation operator and the maximum number of iterations for the iterative solver.
